Finding the right airframe is the most exciting, yet hardest part! We do the legwork, so you can sit back and enjoy the results. We don’t go out and buy the first plane we see. We conduct a thorough inspection, to see if it’s worthy of our time and your money. Our pre-buy includes an FAA search of all the records pertaining to the aircraft. We ensure there are no outstanding liens, no major repair 337’s records are showing repair dated 1981 due to an aborted takeoff attempt where aircraft subsequently veered off the runway. Repairs completed at TT 1581. Flown over 3400 trouble free hours since. We track the chain of ownership to ensure the plane has always been based in the United States. Next, we inspect the log books to confirm that they’re original and complete since the day it was built. We then inspect the actual airframe. We look for corrosion. We inspect the skins for any hail damage. Then, the remainder of the airframe is inspected as if were an annual. If any AD’s are outstanding, or anything is found to be un-airworthy or marginal on its wear life, we will fix it or replace it. Exterior: We removed all necessary control surfaces, the inspection panels, the wing, elevator and rudder tips, and wheel pants. All the exterior plastic or fiberglass was inspected. We replaced anything we could not restore to like new condition. Next, we stripped off the old paint down to the bare aluminum, including the door frames. Then we cleaned, prepped, and primed all surfaces. The final paint coat was applied in a dust-free environment, where we used the Sherwin Williams Jet-Glo process. The control surfaces were re-balanced and installed with new hardware. All other external hardware was replaced with stainless steel. All exterior rubber seals were replaced. New tinted glass was installed and the windows were sealed to prevent leakage.. This new classy paint job is in Matterhorn White with Flight Blue Base and Las Vegas Gold stripes. We added a beautiful finishing touch with the numbers shaded in Las Vegas Gold. The paint job was done 3 years ago and still looks like new.

Interior: We removed the complete interior and examined it for corrosion. We cleaned and treated any that was found. We inspected all interior plastic, and made any repairs or replaced it with new materials. The window trim was dyed to match the interior of the aircraft. The headliner was cleaned and re-dyed or replaced– whatever it took to make it look like new. The seatbelts were re-webbed and color coordinated to match the interior. We installed a new interior placard kit, and new carpeting throughout. We fashioned new side panels with new hardware to fit and look like they did from the factory. We padded and covered the armrests in a matching material. We performed a mechanical and structural inspection of the seat frames, and repaired them as necessary. Also, we painted the seat frames to match the interior. We re-worked the foam and the seat webbing so they’re conducive to lumbar and thigh support. If you prefer, we can custom-cut the foam to fit your body shape before you take delivery. We covered the seats in a high-grade leather and vinyl combination and used a double-French seam– the same process used in high-end vehicles. We installed new windlace cord on doors, along with all new door seals. We find that makes for a quite cabin. The is a rich light tan, which we outfitted in this aircraft. It’s a perfect compliment to the side panels and the cut-pile carpeting in beige.
The interior was done 3 years ago and still looks like new.

Avionics: We removed all outdated avionics and excess wiring. Every flight and engine instrument was inspected for cosmetic and mechanical performance. If any instrument lenses were foggy, discolored, or not working properly, they were repaired. The autopilot is tested to perform to manufacturer’s specifications. If it didn’t meet these standards, it was fixed. All light bulbs were inspected and replaced if not working. We refurbish the instrument panel overlay in black to give you a clean, modern-looking panel. A FAA certified repair station installed the following modern avionics stack. All new avionic installations include the manufacturer warranty.
